Going To Do Something Really Stupid chapter 5

Ratchet sat down on the couch with fear in his eyes as he knew he had to take Leo jones back to prison he was the only one that could do it Alister looked over at the other" whats happend?" he asked as his voice was full of concern as he pulled his eyebrows together under a worried look.

Ratchet looked back at Alister for a a moment and " Leo Jones was one of the worse enmies I ever had , one of the strongest and smarest . He nearly killed me and Clank seven years ago" he looked down at his hands in his lap as he ran his fingurs through his fur on top of his head.

Alister put a hand on his shoulder for comfort"do you know where he is?" he turned off the TV and turned back to the other as he wanted to comfort him but at the moment didn't know how.

Ratchet looked up from his hands as he slowly lefted his head up enough to look the elder in the eye" no, Qwark found some of his goons in motroples city.He's to smart to do his own dirty work".

He bearied his head back in his hands in frusteration as the memories of what that horble man did to them , no one deverves to go through that twice if even at all. He graoned as he hesatently put his arms around the elder for more comfort.

Alister wrapped his arms around the other gently as he rubbed his back and kissed his head "it's going to be alright , your not going alone. I'm going with you" he still was rubbing his back lightly as he moved into a more comfterable position.

Ratchet did the same as he wrapped his arms around Alister's chest bearing his head int his shoulder,as he was holding back his tears with all his might not wanting them to fall as he was afraid if the other came with him he would lose him again and this time he wouldn't come back.

"Alister , i can't let you come with me , not this time" he sighed as his ears drooped a bit more, as his tail flicked in nervuseness" I know Leo more then you do, and I can't risk losing you again... i just can't"

He looked down in sarow as he was thinking; even if I say he shouldn't come he won't listen to me, hes to stubern to listen; he slowly lefted his head up from the others chest as he let a few tears fall as his eyes were burning from him holding back. Alister cupped his cheeks and used his thumbes to wipe away his tears

"Ratchet, I know you afraid... but i made a vow to stay by your side no matter what happens" he nuzzled his forehead against the others lightly for comfort.

Ratchet smiled lightly at the memory of that wonderful day when thay made that promise" I know , and I would do anything to obey them, but this time for your safty.Please , just this once for me , don't come with me" he begged in a quiet and soft voice as he nuzzled back and closed his eyes as he held the others hand tightly.

Slowly getting up and walking out of the house so he could think for an hour or two just him alone with his thoughts as he sat at the edge of a cliff with the sun bearing down on him as he watched the day go by. He sighed as his leg was hanging off the edge and his other leg raised up to his chest as his arm arm was resting on his knee as he watched the sunset.

As it got dark he walked back in the house and went to bed early.
